MTB Between Volcanoes
Mountain Bike – Tour entre volcanes:
If you are a lover of mountain biking this tour is for you as it has all the adrenaline that can give you the descent of these two giants surrounded by natural landscapes.
Our route will be 45 kilometers from an 85 percent descent and a 15 percent intermediate ascent, not before an hour’s walk through the crater of the Irazú volcano.
At the beginning of our adventure we will prepare your equipment which consists of gloves, helmet, bicycle number 29 with hydraulic braking system this accompanied by our guides and an escort car which has hydration and tropical fruits that we will enjoy along the way.
In the course of the tour we will pass on the route that connects the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes as well as the villages of Santa Cruz de Turrialba, where a delicious lunch typical of the area awaits us as well as the coffee-growing town of Aquiares famous for its beautiful waterfall in which ends our adventure.

- Alajuela 5:30 am
- Heredia 5:45 am
- San José 6 am
- Cartago 6:30 am
** Turrialba is where our home office is 7am departures return 4pm
What to Bring:
- Windbreaker
- Light clothes for biking
- Long sleeve shirt to avoid road rash
- Comfortable shoes
- Change of clothes for afterwards
- Sunblock.
